Watermelon works with a fair use policy to keep the platform stable and accessible for everyone. Most teams stay well within the limits of their plan, and we aim to keep our pricing simple without unnecessary restrictions. You shouldn’t have to monitor usage every day — if your activity puts long-term strain on our infrastructure, we’ll reach out to discuss a setup that fits your needs. If you require custom limits at any point, you can always contact us at [email protected].

Examples of extensive usage

These are situations where we may contact you to discuss a custom plan:
  • Consistently high conversation volumes When monthly usage stays far above your plan limits for several months in a row.
  • Large amounts of file data or repeated large file updates For example, very frequent uploads or unusually large document libraries.
  • Heavy website scraping activity Such as continuous crawling of large domains or repeated full-site syncs far beyond plan expectations.
  • Unusually high action or automation activity For example, workflows that trigger a very large number of automated tasks on a daily basis.
  • Sharing an account outside your organization A Watermelon subscription is intended for use within a single organization. External sharing is not allowed and may lead to suspension or termination.
What we mean by “consistent high usage?

A single spike or busy week is not a problem. We only classify usage as “consistent” when the increased volume continues for 3–4 months in a row, indicating long-term operational needs. If this happens, we’ll contact you to ensure your setup keeps running smoothly.
