Understand the status indicators
Each visitor is assigned a color-coded status dot next to their conversation. These colors indicate their level of activity:| Status | Color | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Active | 🟢 Green | The visitor has currently opened the chat. |
| Minimized | 🟠 Orange | The chat has been minimized. The visitor is temporarily inactive but may return and reopen the chat at any moment. |
| Closed | 🔴 Red | The visitor has left the website. |
How it works
The chat widget on your website includes a minimize option. When a visitor minimizes the chat, this action is instantly sent to your Inbox in Watermelon, updating their activity status in real time. This way, you always know when to engage, wait, or close the conversation.
